Missing Options?
The parking sensor is there.
I really hate looking at the empty buttons.

Second button - rear window sunshade switch
Third button - Parktronic (that you have)
Forth button - ? (No description in the Owner's Manual and the button is greyed out in the picture)

I didn't think to look in the manual.

The Sport/Comfort button is beside the shifter though and mode is displayed in the center gauge cluster.
I believe this GLK is as loaded as it gets, because from some digging, the only mystery was the blank buttons.
And I'm sure its the MB Tex and not leather because I have a nose for leather, and this ain't it!

You aren't necessarily missing options because of blank buttons. Some markets get blank buttons where options exist in other markets but not the market in question. Sometimes they deliberately leave blank buttons for other reasons including symmetry or visual appeal (one lonely button in the middle of that section would look bad). They also might choose to leave blank buttons as placeholders for options that may be added mid-generation. It's a lot cheaper to substitute a real button for an existing blank than it is to insert a real button where nothing existed, which means changing that whole section of the dash.

The main thing I love about leather is the smell, but it will also absorb bad smells over time (smoking/sweat/etc). So yeah, for all the outdoorsy stuff I do, (and dogs eventually) the vinyl may be wiser!
I'm not sure what the button order was in 2010. For 2013-2014 North American GLK models, the buttons are:
1 - blank
2 - transmission sport/economy (this was moved to the dash when the shifter was moved to the column for 2013)
3 - Parktronic sensors on/off
4 - ECO to turn off the auto stop/start (this space is blank on US GLK250 models due to it not having auto stop/start)

It was more just curiousity than anything.
My dealer quoted me $3200 ($790 for part) the rest is labor. I thought this was crazy. I contacted a MB parts dealer in the Netherlands who told me this was insane. They could get me the part for $545 shipped. They said it is pretty straight forward it needs to be recoded and xentry is needed.
Can anyone comment on this.
