iPhone 5 Data Tethering thru USB?
Just got my 2014 GLK 250 (fully loaded) two week ago. I had my iPhone 5 (iOS 6.xx) connected to it and used the personal hotspot to access internet thru Bluetooth. It was pretty slow. I have LTE network thru Rogers in Canada which is pretty fast on a cell phone IMO. I believe hotspot sharing thru Bluetooth really limits the access speed because I tested the speeds of three different hotspot sharing methods on iPhone 5 before. Bluetooth is the slowest among them.
I want to use hotspot sharing thru USB but COMAND indicates that the device is unreadable. I will try to get a 30 pins to lightning adapter later on. But that's not my concern at this moment.
So my question is does anyone know if it's possible to use hotspot sharing thru USB? Or is there any other ways to boost up the access speed?
Thanks,
Steven
