Towing Eye socket

Can anyone tell me whether or not there are sockets for the towing eye on just one, or on both sides of the rear bumper on the 2013/4 GLK?

It's just on the passenger side of our 2014.

Only one eh! That's too bad. I had in mind to come up with a spare tire holder that would use those points for added support.

Yeah I don't think you'll find too many vehicles with two tow hooks!

Just to be sure...that hole at passenger side rear bumper is for this car to be towed not for this car to tow other cars right?

Absolutely. You should never tow another vehicle by a tow hook!

It's really a misnomer as you're not using it for "towing" - you're using it to get the vehicle out of a situation where it's stuck.
