glk android radio conversion
hi guys i am posting my new project
replacing the original 5inch screen with a samsung galaxy tab 3 7inch
so i ordered the original trim for the 7inch lcd from dealer
comes from germany so i will only have it in 2 weeks
currently working on the rom for the android so that it does what i need
like on screen soft keys at all time since all the buttons will be hidden by the trim
hibenate when no power so that the screen turns off when the car is off and automaticly comes on when the car accessory is active
custom mercedes boot logo
so the plan is to connect the charging cable to the 120v in the trunk for faster charging and the audio to the aux in the glove box
the hard part is
adding the original back, end, and wheel of original radio to navigate in the tablet
if you are wondering about the original screen displays well i will be loosing that info but its pretty easy to learn it by heart , but i will extend the wire if too short and put that 5inch display in the glove box so when needed it will be there
what do you guys think ?
