2014 250 GLK Blutec Oil Capacity
Anyone know the oil capacity of the 2014 250 GLK Blutec? My owners manual says all models 6.9 quarts with oil filter change. I had the car in for an oil change this week and they charged me for 9 qts! I refused to pay for that amount. I just checked the oil level and it is just over the top of the red indicator onto the cable. I know that this is an overfill, but is it enough to cause problems. Thanks.

Mine took 7.5 quarts. It's a 2013, but the capacity should be the same.
I would not leave it above the red indicator. Not sure what (if any) problems it may cause, MB marked it for a reason!

Prepaid Maintainence in Canada
Just wondering if anyone has signed up for the new Pre-Paid Maintainence program launched by Mercedes Canada and if it is worth it. For a Diesel GLK 250 its about $1200 plus taxes for 3 year or 36000 Kilometers, three services. All they do is Oil & Filter change. Rest is visual inspection. My question is is it worth it or is it better to pay as you go
