2013 GLK 350
New Media Interface Cable - Replacing
MBZ now has the Lighting cable for the media interface cable supporting the iPhone 5 for so equipped MB vehicles. Dealer tells me the old media interface cable just comes out of the console and you insert the new replacement. This is not working. How do you remove the old interface cable in the console? Thanks

Lighning "cable" is ONLY
The Lightning Cable will only officially work with MultiMedia equipped MB's - see attached bulletin ... for other's use 30 pin cable and get 30 pin adapter from ATT/Apple etc.

look at your new cable you push the small release on the face of the cable,then do the same on the cable in the car and pull straight out

Yeah, what he said. Look at it, or just feel it, it has a ribbed button where you put your thumb and press and pull.
