LED / Xenon Headlights?

Hi,

Here we only have two versions of the GLK. Its either a very basic one or a Premium one. We can't choose customized features as they order them in bulk purchases (we can actually, but we have to wait 3-4 months for arrivals).

So I got the basic one. It features most of the usual benz stuff but lacks some pretty cool stuff I wish I had (Keyless option, "Sports" features, 19" rims and relevant tires, etc.).

The thing I really wish I had were them bluish headlights (that also turn where the wheel goes).

Is it possible to install these after purchase? The dealership says they don't do such installs and can't recommend anyone who does.

Could you guys help me out with headlights specifications? As to, what to look for / order from ebay?

I think what you are looking for is the Mercedes Adaptive Headlights. That came with the "Lighting Package." I don't think you can get aftermarket ones that will perform what you are looking for. You can get aftermarket HIDs...somebody please correct me if I am wrong...

Aftermarket HID you mean the entire headlight system excluding the adaptive controls?

I actually dont mind the adaptation (Even though its super cool). I like the color and the light strength these headlights had. My current ones are pretty simple. H7 bulbs.

I want one too. I have checked the ebay and I can only found some used headlight system. I can't find any aftermarket headlight system in US yet. I will keep waiting!

Where is here? The adaptive's need modifications for leveling and for the low beam shield solenoid. Not an easy thing. You can install aftermarket HID Bulbs but they are not the same. You can also install different temp standard bulbs if all you want is the color. Neither of these will give you the output of the adaptive HID.

Yeah, I wish I had that package, too. It amazes me that Toyota Corollas have LED tail lights and I have filament bulbs.

Mine is pretty loaded but I didn't know about that option when I selected the car...
