Keeping Rear Doors Locked
I think I have a silly question but I need to find an answer.
My 18 month old thinks it's funny to grab the rear door handle while sitting in his car seat while the car is moving. The doors are locked but pulling on the handle will unlock and open the door. Obviously this is a dangerous situation and luckily my wife is usually in the backseat beside him to prevent him but he managed to do it a couple of times.
Is there a way to not be able to unlock/open the door while the doors are locked? I tried flipping through the settings and couldn't find anything.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Child proof rear doors
Hi,
The GLK has a switch on the rear doors to "child proof" them.
Once set (mechanical switch ... see page 63 of the 2013 owners manual), the doors cannot be opened from the inside. If the doors are unlocked, they can only be opened from the outside.
Happy motoring.

Here is a Picture from the OWNERS MANUAL (USA& Canada Models ONLY - its on page 66 of my PDF version) Since your post says you in Seoul KRK ; am not sure if your model has same USA/Canada Specs or EURO specs. Please check you User Manual or see a MB dealer
Its a Mechanical Lever/Switch type of engagement - and you just flick downwards (I think) and you set!! Its pretty simple and picture tells all
Goof Luck
