Hi guys sorry for the late-ish reply. I've been trying to keep focused on this mcat and I get carried away. Anywho... As for my glk adventures. I don't think I'm doing too well here in SoCal. I was interested in one with an MSRP of 43,255 and only got them down to 37,300. I only want basic things in this glk. Mainly polar white, tan interior, P1 and blind spot. This particular one does not have blind spot but instead has p1, trailer hitch, heated seats and keyless go. It seems it's getting harder to find these 2014. What do you guys think of this offer? And do you think it would be preferable to wait until winter sales event which by then would only have 2015s most likely. The MF on 2014 is 0.00098 which is better than the MF on the 2015 which is around 0.00139. Ok sorry for the long-ish post! And thanks again

GLK250
San Diego dealers aren't as willing to discount as much as Los Angeles dealers. Even so, the incentive is at most $3500 right now. For the MSRP you quoted, the invoice should be ~$40300, so you can get it down to $36700.

If you're looking to lease, just keep in mind that the 250 has a 3% higher residual than the 350 RWD, and 2% higher than the 350 AWD. Even though the 250 can only use the standard MF of 0.00210 (or 0.00195 if your credit is excellent) you can bring it down 70 points via MSDs and with the higher residual you'll find it cheaper to lease the 250 vs the 350.

glk250
Hey just wanted to update everyone on my buy. So I ended up getting a glk250 this weekend after all, haha! The cheapest I was able to find was in SoCal. They had a palladium silver MSRP 49600 and offered it to me at 42500. I asked them to lower 300 more for my gas (I'm 5 hours away) but they refused. So I ended up calling my local mb dealer in central cali to see if they would match. I really don't like going to the local one because they always want high price since there is little competition. After some going back and forth though they ended up selling me one almost identical to the SoCal glk250. The MSRP was 49960 on this one and got it for 42500. I saved myself the 300 from driving 30 miles versus 300 and this one has a trailer hitch. It doesn't have the xenon lights or the amg wheels but pretty much fully loaded. I just ordered some Philips diamond vision bulbs (I was thinking about the xenon conversion but I'm scared to mess up the car). And the wheels, man I just don't like them I really want some amg wheels but they said it would be $1200 per wheel through dealership! I'm going to have to learn to like these.
