GLK250 Blutec vs BMW 328d x-drive Wagon?
Considering 328 vs GLK is like considering e class to M class or a dog to a cat or an elephant to a giraffe. Completely two different cars.
In my experience, owning both a bmw and a mercedes is prety much the same. I would speculate that where the BMW was in 2006ish is where MB is right now. After e60 BMW started using completely different materials on the same vehicles. It feels like they ran out of money. Thus, MB, in the same class of vehicles, would be a clear winner for me.
Still e34 is in my heart
She ended up going with the X3. As far as build quality/finish, I'd give the MB the nod. As far as ownership experience however, BMW has had no issues while the BT, not so much.

I would not be surprised if anyone feels the bimmer underpowered.... On paper the GLK250 at least has 1 more turbo.
That being said, I have never test-driven one. I checked out a 2015 GLK250 (CPO) as my first option...loved the test drive. Wheeled, dealed and got a screamer of a deal.
Now, I have a bit of buyers remorse (don't read into this...self admitted perfectionist here) a year later because it feels a tiny bit "bricky" on the highway sometimes. 99% of the time I am happy with it and it meets all the requirements I had. Great mileage, can drive it in snow...can fit snowboards and surfboards in it and the kids...great all around car. I find it sexy too...as the bold lines harken a bit to the G wagon.
GLK250 is going to average 32-33 mpg. I am currently averaging 31.7 - but my commute is on very congested highway in SoCal.
328d is going to average 33-35. So, a tad better. I had an Audi TDI with same mileage specs (had to give it back in recall) and averaged 34.
But, damn, that 328d wagon is sexy and sporty. Guess I am a wagon nerd. Anyone have one that thinks it is peppy and handles sporty?
