Aftermarket glass break sensor to factory alarm?
I have a 2014GLK. Sadly, our area has been experiencing a rash of window smash and grabs this summer (we rented a Suburban to do some hauling that got hit). Although we normally keep the car in the garage, and I realize that a glass break sensor doesn't really deter someone breaking a window, I wouldn't mind having it.
In doing some Google-fu, I can't seem to locate anything that would tie into the factory system. Does such a beast exist?

You are right it will not deter and by the time you respond it will be too late. Do your self a favor and don't leave anything in plain sight.
In the world of security if you had lawn sign in front of your home and your neighbor did not whose house they would break into. Might not be a bad idea to see if there is a decal of some sort to be had for your GLK.
