2013 MB GLK 350
LED back up lights
I am planning to put LED back up bulbs in my 2013 GLK 350. Anyone know how to get to them? Step by Step pictures?I am a little afraid to just start taking things apart.

Hit up XenonDepot for the reverse LEDs...they are super bright white.
Easy DIY job...remove plastic panel to access rear tail light assembly...remove taillight housing...swap out bulbs to LEDs...test LEDs/polarity before re-installing the housing...if they light, then go ahead and re-install....done.

I would try that philips xtreme LED T16 921, but it is not possible to buy theese in Europe and xenondepot wants $77 for shipping to Europe Any no-error alternative to Philips? I really need stronger backup lights, GLK stocks are sooooo weak...

I just replaced the 921 bulbs with Sylvania LED type. They are much brighter but because they use much less current, .25A vs 1.5A each, you will get
a "check reversing lights" message. Pressing the OK button on the steering wheel is a small price to pay for the extra visibility.
Anybody know what the other missing bulb behind the inner clear light bezel is. Looks like a standard bayonet bulb and If still connected it would
defeat the error message, (and add even more light),

Yeah a 12-15 ohm resistor in parallel would do it. It would be better connect wires the original bulbs & place them in
the empty adjacent reflector I mentioned. Cheaper too. Hmm... where did I put my soldering iron?
