How too guide for under dash led lights?
I have a 2013 GLK 350. Does anyone know a simple step by step way of putting in under dash lighting for morons ?

I finded a line of clear plastic below the dash, I think that is a pre installation to leds lights, you know something more about it? Thanks. GLK 300 2015

Are there wires not hooked up inside the light box , behind the clear lens?

No there isn't any light source at all just the ends of the plastic strip. When I put an LED light on the end it illuminated the whole dash actually quite nice. I wonder if it's just an option to actually get the light source..

Sure there is an option, find the switched ceiling light wire and tap into it. My local stereo shop offered to do mine but I never went through with it. Stereo shops work with wiring all day long . That’s their specialty- wiring things up.
