Ski rack
Bought a pair of basic carriers , the MB ones, from this forum, thanks for the seller too!
Now looking for the actual ski attachements, is this the one I should get :
From those pics, can't figure out how these are attached to basic carrier...
Are there other possibilities or products that also will work with MBs basic carrier?
And those who are using these, do You keep them on your vehicle all the time ?
Or do You take them off when not needed ?
Ski season is here.....
Also realized the stock tyres are M+S marked, but how good are they in proper deep snow ?
Or should I consider purchasing real wintertyres too, if I drive a lot in snowy areas ?
Remembering last years ski trip to PA mountains and the snow storm we faced in our FWD rental KIA, with summertyres....

That ski rack attaches by a T bolt that slides through the slot of the carrier bar. All the Thule ski rack systems use this style of attachment. Just buy the ski rack made by Thule. Thule makes the ski racks for Mercedes.
I leave my ski rack on all ski season with no wind noise during driving.
I would buy proper snow tires. I get much better traction with snow tires inthe snow compared to the stock tires.
