After the vacation mishap with the 14 250s run flats and the poor winter traction at only 14k I want a matching 5th rim to work into a new tire rotation. I didn't find after markets that matched and 1350 is what my dealer wants. It would be nice to find some one switching to 20s. Not a member of the grandtrek fan club.

To expect the oem run flats to substitute as "WINTER" tires is setting ones' self up for disappointment. One might want to consider a winter tire/rim set. i know that dealer's routinely do oem rim and tire substitutions and sell those take offs (rims in your case) @ substantial discount. At the minimum, ask them (or other tire vendors) or ask them to notify you when they have those animals in.

I may get a set from tire rack if I cant get a matching used rim through my sales man.Had run flats before so I don't wonder if a new set would be adequate.I have a lift so tire changing is easy and carrying a 5th tire on trips is worth it to me provided this 2nd set is the best all season.

Yes, I am not a fan of run flats either, but have any number of times taken it (these) through mountain roads in winter, zero to 7,380 ft and return. However, they are posting good wear and will take advantage of the oem rf tires, for as long as they will last.
You might want to try getting a "normal sized" tire and rim combination into the "spare" tire area to mock up for fit.

We were thinking a hitch platform or on top for a return to Moab.Just feel I need a spare going there.And 5 wheel rotations can't hurt.I will know by next week if I will buy 1 rim from mercedes or 5 loaded from tire rack.
