Will 18x8 ET50 wheel fit?

My OEM wheel is 20x8 ET42. Thinking of going down to 18." Will 18x8 ET50 fit or will it be too close to the suspension at the back? Anyone tried this?

Thanks.

They will sit too far in to begin with, and seeing as your 18s will have a much taller sidewall that bulges outwards (i.e. the tires would be wider in the middle of the sidewall than the 235-width contact patch), it is quite possible that they will rub. You need something around ET40 to be on the safe side.
