GLK 350 doesnt warn when you leave door open and lock your vehicle
My 2014 GLK 350 doesnt warn me when I have a door open and lock my vehicle when i leave. It seems to be a very basic feature that is missing in such an expensive vehicle, my old corolla had it. what is it with these german vehicles? they come up with weird features (it switches off the engine when in the ECO mode when I stop, and restarts it when i release the brakes - not sure how much gas that saves me. May be useful for someone in city stop-and-go driving but appears completely useless for me.) but lacks basic features like the one mentioned above.

If you press LOCK on your keyfob (or touch the door handle if equipped with KEYLESS-GO) and there is a situation that prevents it from locking fully, such as an open door, the horn will not sound.
If the horn never sounds when locking, you can enable this in the instrument cluster settings. It's just a brief toot to tell you the car is locked.
