GLK 220
Question Configure cluster to show speed in all views

i have a 2015 GLK and the analog speedometer clock is so subtle that it's hard to see the speed at a glance.

To avoid more speeding tickets I've set the cluster to show speed digitally, but that stops me seeing range or the satnav instructions.
Is there some way of changing the lower half of the display (which is independent of the cluster view ) so that it shows the speed instead of temperature, eco or some other trivia?

The small size of the analog speedo used to bother me too. I prefer to watch my trip stats to marvel at the incredible fuel economy of the diesel. Soon I got used to the analog speedo and watching my speed is no longer an issue. Perhaps it should be more prominent, but I can't see wasting the LCD display on just the digital speed while the analog speed is always there.

Very very slow
On a 2010GLK Canadian spec, I can change the outside temperature display to speed (MPH in my case).
Not sure about the newer model.

Yes, on a Canadian car (the new ones as well) you can have MPH at the bottom, which is there to help you in case you travel to the US. It's possible that US cars may be able to set up KM/H instead of temperature on the display, but on the GLK you can't have a digital speed readout in the default (analog) measurement units on any "combo" display.

OP - if range is what you are looking at on your gauge cluster, I'd say you have bigger problems and it's no wonder you're getting speeding tickets in a GLK. The central screen will give you the nav instructions, as would the audio guidance.
