Looking to purchase a glk-250
Hello all,
I am planning to purchase a glk 250 after doing a test drive of that vehicle yesterday. thinking of getting the white, premium package, sun roof. Im in the united states California. we really like how sturdy the vehicle was and how much more steel the vehicle was made compared to other companies. this is our family car as we plan to start a family next year. any advice on the car and tips on haggling for a good price would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

I think the GLK250 is a great car. I drive it every day to work and it is always a comfortable and fuel efficient drive.
Being 6'4", having car seats in the back is difficult because they require the fronts seats to be moved up considerably. Just something to think about if this is going to be your main family vehicle with a baby. It is not a problem for occasional use of the car seats for me.

If you are pointed to GLK-BlueTech diesel - the new/new 2016 GLC will be gas version only until "maybe" late-Spring - and that's a guess since Mercedes has not finalized GLC diesel.
The BlueTech GLK250 has a lot going for it - and so will the new/new GLC - but for you Diesel GLC timing will be different than if you are considering gas..
Keep the beat !.

Just visited LA. You are smart to go to diesel. It's $1.00 to $1.50 gallon cheaper. It gets better mileage per gallon. Lower maintenance costs. Good acceleration, breaking and handling if you are on SoCal highways.
