Today while I was putting the Speed/Red light camera POIs into my Comand, I discovered the map could display more symbols than it's listed on the menu.
Under Navi/Map setting/POI symbols on map/Custom Symbols/, there is a list of symbols to select but when I clicked 'All', map displayed many more symbols that are not listed on that menu. For example, for the restaurant, it showed different symbols for each categories such as Italian, Chinese, Canadian,...
If you live in a big city, maybe it will be too many symbols but I found some of them are quite helpful.

Just FYI.

Anyone know what the 3 boxes stacked up symbol is? And in settings (2010 glk with Nav) there is something where you can set the Text Reader Speed. What the heck is it reading? Doesn't seem to make a difference and isn't in the manual and it doesn't read text messages. .

Not quite sure about the symbol but the Text Reader Speed is the setting to adjust the speed of reading your text. My 2015 Comand can read out the text received but only when car is not moving.

Do you mean text messages to the phone? My iPhone pairs easily to the Nav. with bluetooth, but I don't think the 2010 was able to receive text.

Yes my Comand can display and read out the text messages received to my Android phone. But again, it works only when car is stopped, so I don't know what's the point.

I actually haven't tried that option so now I'm thinking maybe this setting is to adjust the general navi voice speed? Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.
