Mirror turnsignal not working but no warning message

Hi Everyone,

I have a MY13 GLK350 4Matic. I recently noticed my right-side mirror turn signal is not lighting up but there are no warning messages on my dash.

Anyone experience this before? is the sensor broken?

Haven't experienced it but I seriously doubt there would be any message if it failed. The current draw for that LED is probably too low to measure easily and it's probably reasonably expected that it will outlast the life of the vehicle.

In any event, the LED may not have failed. Could be associated electrics/electronics.

A gaggle of MB's
Correct - if the required turn signal lamps in front and rear bumper are out - that triggers the warning as a safety issue - and yes, mirror turn signal indicators are not required by Federal Safety Standards - so if mirror turn signal indicator goes out it does not trigger the same safety warning.

keep the beat !

Turn signal Light Mirror not Working

If you have a motorized mirror there's a good chance that the electrical wires are broken, remove the electrical tape off of the four 22 gauge wires running to
the LEDs and you may see broken wires.
there's an easy way to reach the wires without taking the mirror apart, just close the mirror and reach from the back folded corner and remove the Black cover with a small long needle nose pliers and grab it with your fingers.
you may also need a dental surgical tool and solder gun kit so you can pull the wire out a little to solder them back together.
Harbor Freight has all three tools for less then $25.00 for all.
I'll try to post a illustration.

Is not the vehicle still under warranty? This sort of failure, since it is not an incandescent bulb, should be covered.
