Sadly leaving the GLK 250 community
My GF's Birthday present
After 16 months with a wonderful 2013 GLK 250, ... had to move on. New job, company car supplied, ... so traded in the GLK for some wheels more suited for my girlfriend's daily commute:
Big thanks to all here in the GLK forum. See you around ...
Happy Motoring.
Stay safe!!!

you were racking up quite a few miles if not the most on a GLK250, What did you finally end with and were there any serious issues we should watch for?
PS
I wish I had a daily commute that would warrant a convertible....

I actually did 142,000 km from July 4th 2013 until April 1st 2015.
There was a weird issue when the car would sometimes fall into "limp mode". From start, run 3-5 minutes in traffic, ... clunk ... no more power. I could re-set by doing a reset on the transmission (power off, gas to the mat, key to position 2, key to position 0).
Only happened 2-3 times though.
Of course, fuel gelled twice first winter before I started using PowerService for all fill-ups in winter.
Other than that ... I'll really miss the GLK.
Take care all.

LOL!!! ... After a bit of deliberation, ... we'll probably store the new (CPO) SLK for the winter months, ... Sort of too risky to get plowed into by some dummy.
Been out and around with the new ride for a few road trips. ... It is quite FUN!!!
Take care all.
Cheers.

Good luck with the SLK! Your input has been helpful while on this forum. Our other car is a BMW Z3 Roadster in Dakar Yellow which looks nice in the garage beside our Mars Red GLK. Must be tough though going into the winter doldrums where you are located which boils down to waiting until spring to enjoy the new toy! One lucky gf imo.
