Key Fob and seat memory

Do I have the ability to program each key fob to seat memory such that when I unlock with my key fob my seat settings are set, and when my wife uses hers, the same thing happens? I've looked through the manual and did a search in this forum but nothing came up. I'd be shocked if it doesn't have that feature, but I sure can't find it anywhere.

Thanks in advance.

A gaggle of MB's
Please don't be "shocked" - Mercedes never has had car-Fob-activated seat memory - and the current Mercedes interpretation of Federal Safety guidelines is the driver/passnger should only be able to activate seat memory/movement while sitting in the seat and press/hold memory button - so that if in-motion it catches rear passenger feet/objects driver/passenger releases button and stops the movement ... again, current Mercedes interpretation

Wow! I'm surprised. Well, this is my first foray into MB ownership. Both my current 2005 Jag and even my '97 Jag (which I had to retire after 247k wonderful miles) have key fobs programmed to memory location such that by the time you opened the door to get it, everything was already set. Having to squeeze in and sit to press the button for my memory position kinds sucks (as is having to hold the button down the whole time). Oh well, I knew there was some quirky German Engineering in MB (more so than BMW--I had a 535i a while ago), so not completely shocked. I'd actually have to say that my '97 Jag was the least quirky. The '05 is not so much quirky but more that Ford's influence made for some dumb changes over the '97. This will be a fun 'learning' experience...

I'd prefer the seat position (and mirrors) to be adjusted when I approach the car with the remote, but the GLK's button position on the door makes it pretty easy to move the seat as you get in.

I don't have a problem with not having the seat memory set to the key fob, because my wife and I only use the one fob, since I don't want to carry two, hers and mine. However, most of my other cars only require a push on the seat button to have all the settings move. With the MB you need to hold the button until all the settings have been changed. Since my wife and I are very different sizes, this means standing and holding the button until you hear all the motors stop which takes at least a minute.
I know, only a minute, but in the rain, I can't get in until the seat and wheel and head rest have stopped or I swallow my knees.

My wife is only 1/2 an inch shorter than me. As long as she doesn't wear high heels, she keeps the seat in the same position as me. :-)
