Internet Tethering Issue - iPhone 6/6 Plus
Hello All,
Got a call from my dealer about the compatibility issue with tethering internet to iPhone 6/6 Plus. They mentioned there was a software update for my '14 GLK250.
It's getting the update done today. Will update with results!

Hi,
If your Benz has MBApps, you can browse the web, get internet radio, sign into TuneIn radio, get some traffic info, etc.
On your 5 or 7 inch display, there should be an icon that looks like a globe (far right), you can see the Internet features there.

Sorry for the delays, got the GLK back on Thursday, confirmed working with a 6 and a 6s.
They did do a command software update so if you have any issues, a solution should be available now.

Thanks. I was always under the impression I had to pay for a data plan through MB for those apps to work. Could you point me to some directions for how to tether you phone? I also have an iPhone 6.

As long as you bluetooth tether like normal, you just need to have personal hotspot turned on and it should connect fine. It is slow, but the internet radio and tunein is a nice little feature
