I am a 25 year old guy, i recently bought a 2015 GLK350. at first i wanted a C300 because its more of a teen car, but my family said we needed a small SUV so we bought a GLK. I want to hear from everyone, what do you think? is GLK more of a car for women or teen?

I have yet to see a teenager driving a GLK.

Around these parts, I see slightly more females driving a GLK than males.

In any case, why worry about it?

Enjoy your ride!

Definitely not a teen car. Maybe higher percentage female though.

I bought a new 2014 GLK in 2014 for my highschool daughter for her sweet 16. We liked the utility and easy drive it has compared to our other vehicles for short errands.

Teen? Why would a teen want a GLK? Same for a young unmarried women. Young family, sure, but as the family got bigger or older not enough room in the back for 2 big guys. Great car for a couple after the 'Empty Nest' or someone who wants to cart stuff, not to large stuff, around. And, he or she, can use it to go to classy functions and feel they are driving a Mercedes.

As I mentioned in another post, my wife "owns" our GLK -- BUT I don't feel at all out of place driving it. It is a superb smaller runabout - practical, fun, reasonably luxurious, and all.

About the only demographic group I would not expect to see in one would be the 20-30 year old males. They seem to want something more sporty.

I haven't noticed more women then men driving it, but I haven't really looked either. It may not be the most sporty in the lineup, but is better than you might expect. It is nimble and has the same V6 that is used in the larger and heavier E and ML classes. That makes it fun, quick car.

The GLK is not a "girls" car. It is a good alternative to larger SUVs. Most other smaller SUVs are Japanese or Korean if you're in to that, I am not. PLus most smaller SUVs are front wheel drive which is not for most including me. I recently traded in my BMW X5 for my GLK because among other things I got tired of trying to find parking for what we called "the bus" .

Defiantly not a teen car but for sure more of a woman and old folks SUV,imho.
I also downsized from a 2013 Ford Explorer XLT which was fully loaded.
I liked the looks but everything else on the SUV was pure garbage.
After test driving the GLK I was a believer, plus I got a sweet deal on the car.

Ask yourself - do you like driving the GLK? Then stop worrying about what other people think.

When I had my Camaro girls would flash their goodies to me while driving.
Now I get thumbs up grannies.

The GLK is as much as girls' car as a Miata is.

Oh wait - forget I said anything.

Well i'm a 30 yo man and i bought the glk ... because i tested all other cars ( BMW - Subaru - Volvo- mazda - etc ...)
i prefered the confort of MB, the service are very appreciated, the dealer make everything to help me...

i had two Chevrolet, good service but they have no reliability and no resale value ( the value of my las 37 000 $ car after 8 years was only 1000 $ LOL)

So GLK is for everyone !

Interesting topic....We recently gave my wife's Volvo XC90 to our daughter and got the GLK to replace it - they both prefer SUV's and my wife wanted to downsize from the bigger Volvo.

The only thing my wife asked me was if I would ever mind driving the GLK for those times we have more than just the two of us....not because it's a GLK, but because she chose RED!

Man, that car stands out!

What difference does it make it doesn't seem like it was your choice anyway.

Dumb thread.
