2013 GLK 350 Illuminated Star Questions
Hey forum members,
I just purchased a certified pre-owned 2013 GLK 350 4Matic. I really love the car and am beyond satisfied regarding performance and looks. One thing that I've become interest in is the OEM GLK illuminated emblem. I've found a few listings on Amazon and eBay for around $400. I cannot really validate spending that much on something purely cosmetic. I really want this on my front grill and can easily do it myself, however I had a few questions about interchangeability. I'm curious if other Model's illuminated emblems are interchangeable with the GLK. For example, would a CLA illuminated emblem fit in a GLK? I'm trying to save a bit of money. Also, though I've searched, does anyone know were I can get a used or new illuminated GLK emblem for around $150.

The Stars require more then just the emblem itself. The wiring harness is something MB Tech's only can get. And the installation itself needs to be by them, or it doesn't comply with warranty (not sure if yours is still within warranty)
The tech time is also pricey, as you may already know.
Your best bet might be to ask your local MB dealer if they can support you with a discount on the entire project.
