Confused about engine oil.

I'm about to change the oil in my GLK 250 BT (2014) the second time. However, 5W-40 Mobil 1 does not exist I guess anymore. Which oil should I use now ?
I have asked 2 Mercedes dealers and they have given me different answers. I live in California if that makes any difference. Please give me your thoughts. Thank you. :-)

I've been using Castrol Edge - 5W-40 Synthetic (ordered from Amazon), its a Mercedes approved oil for both of the GLK's motors.

This topic covered several times on this forum. I did two oil changes with 5w-40 ESP, Formula M and have just 3 quarts left, so I am going to buy Mobil 1 0W-30 ESP Motor Oil ( on Amazon probably) as "it replaces Mobil 1 ESP Formula M 5W-40 and Mobil 1 ESP 0W-30." and meets the Mercedes-Benz spec 229.51.
Amazon.com: Mobil 1 121218 0W-30 ESP Motor Oil - 1 Quart (Pack of 6): Automotive Amazon.com: Mobil 1 121218 0W-30 ESP Motor Oil - 1 Quart (Pack of 6): Automotive

Thank you David 1201 and Alex Bel.

Alex I'm in a hot climate, so I am resisting the idea of 0W-30 ESP. Am I wrong, please ?

Thank you.

Mercedes updated the spec for the diesel oil to 229.52. Use this:
Amazon.com: Mercedes Benz 5W30 Synthetic Oil 229.52 - 1 case of 6 quarts: Automotive Amazon.com: Mercedes Benz 5W30 Synthetic Oil 229.52 - 1 case of 6 quarts: Automotive

Mercedes publishes a list of acceptable oils on one of their web sites:
http://bevo.mercedes-benz.com/bevoli...nt_action=show
Any oil on this 229.51 list should be good. The gasser uses 229.5 oils.
If an oil isn't on the list I would forget it. They're not likely to pay for damage no matter their marketing hooey.
