2015 GLK 350 Emergency Brakes

Currently driving a 2015 GLK350, which I purchased new last year. Just want to know your experience regarding the e-brake (the small pedal under the dashboard) on GLK350s. I engaged it and put the car in neutral for a test. Why does the car still roll?

What's the function of having an e-brake on a GLK? Placebo effect? Does your car behave the same manner?

Nope not for decoration----sounds like your are out of adjustment((odd for a 2015) in any event remove any rear tire then have the girlfriend depress the parking brake---are you able to turn the disc by hand-------if you are look through any of the disc hub holes till you see the old style "thumbwheel" and with a screw drive turn the wheel in a direction that tightens the shoes against the hub!!

You really gotta put your foot into it. I noticed the same thing.
Just pushing it slightly won't work, you gotta get it to click a few more times.

Don't bother...warranty...bring in and have them adjust...now is time to use the dealership before goes out warranty and they want your first born for an oil change.

You guys are right, I was babying the e-brake pedal and not pressing hard enough. I' just afraid of breaking off the pedal, since it's probably molded ABS.
