I have a 2015 GLK350, about 7 months old, so its still under warranty. recently i have noticed that sometimes when i step on the brake to have the car at complete stop, the brake paddle gets hard when i let it go and try step on it again. the car does move at all even when i let my foot of the brake paddle, and when i try to step on the paddle again, it hard/stuck. and for the car to move at all i have to step on the gas peddle. is this normal or should i bring it to the dealer to have it check. it happened twice this week.

Does it say "Hold" on the dash, I think it's a hill holding feature your engaging by mistake, I think your pressing the pedal down twice , read up on it.

That's the HOLD function. Just press the gas pedal, it will release (obviously don't do it until the path ahead of clear and safe).

You need to be on an incline for this to happen and that is why it seems to happen only sometimes. It is the hold feature. I hate all the brake features as it never seems the brake pedal is the same twice. If you are going down hill with cruise control on and step on the brake it is different then with out cruise because the cruise put the brake on. I am sure that the collision system has it change also.
