Instrument Polution Control Light ON
How you might ask!? It seems after a battery recharge the cabin had dried out some, and the instrument cluster came back on. I had left the sunroof open, and the rain came pourin' in. This moisture was likely the culprit for circuitry that was shorting out. Eventually the Pollution Control Light went off as well. Took the vehicle in to a friend who read the computer code and there were no outstanding codes. All systems go! I've been driving it for a couple of days and no more problems. My conclusion is that moisture caused this and once dried out eveything went back to normal. There's something to be said for being patient and not immediately driving to a dealership for a $100 plus/hour diagnostic.
The bigger question is, Did you learn your lesson?
