Tutorial: How to change heater blower motor on GLK
I just replaced my heater blower during the holiday season to avoid CAD$500 for both parts and labour. I bid a used motor on ebay and it was only 50 bucks. Hopefully this will help someone!

Nice write up. I have replaced several blower motors in c,e and g class and the job can be done by most people. If you don't want to bid, Rock Auto has motors for $80 to $114. Not only do bad blower motors whine, but some make a ticking sound that varies with blower speed.

I tried doing this but couldn't get it off. I removed all the plugs. Then I gently lifted up the plastic tab so that the blower can rotate out of it. Once I get rotating it, it got stuck on the opposite side where one part of the plastic from the blower was hitting the panels.
Do you know what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks,
Wayne
