i have GLK 350 2013. i am getting this message "Device unavailable" when i press on sat radio and device error when i press on Sirius weather or Sirius traffic. I checked all the fuses and it's working so this is not the problem.does anyone know how to fix this?

no i didnt pay for MBrace which might explain the sirius weather device error message. but i have active service for sirius and i called them to send signal refresh and do a reset and they said everything is fine from their side. so i shouldn't be getting device unavailable when i press on sat radio

 

I've had this happen a few times. When I turn off and then re-start the car it comes to its senses and works again. If it doesn't in your case I'd suspect a hardware or cable failure. In this case I would suspect a dealer or good sound shop would need to dig into it. Maybe a dealer has a test routine for this. I'd call them and talk to a service writer before agreeing to expensive exploratory surgery.
