2013 GLK250 Nox Sensors (4 in 25k)
Hey, i'm sure this has been brought up a million times...But christ, i've changed 4 nox sensors in 25k......All warrranty...But im at 73k and im thinking i better grab the extended....
Is there anything that's been discovered?????
Ive read the fuel has to be Ultra low sulfur and some other things.....Keep your adblue topped up...Drive it hard to burn access sulfur......
Is there anything i can ask the dealer to check, besides just swapping them out as fast as they can...lol...
If i didn't live 2.5 hours from the dealership i may not be as annoyed...

I use whatever oil the MB dealer puts in it..
So, they changed the nox sensor again, apparently its a new part number and an updated sensor...Lets hope...
They also changed a diesel particulate filter? not sure what that is...
They swapped out the battery too, they had a under voltage fault codes that were stored...

The diesel particulate filter is kind of a big deal given that it costs a few thousand dollars. It is analogous to a catalytic converter on a gas engine. Fortunately it is covered by the 8yr/80k emissions warranty. My DPF went out at 18k.
