2010 GLK350 4MATIC AND 1999 C230 Kompressor

My 2010 GLK350 4Matic is just starting to vibrate alot when I'm backing up and turning the wheel at the same time. Also while I'm at a light or sitting idle. I've replaced the sway bar links and the transmission mount which were worn pretty bad.

Turn on the car and put it in drive(while pressing the brake) if it vibrates then put it in neutral (keep brake pressed down) if the vibration gets better it is a good sign of the engine mounts needing to be replaced. Mercedes is known to have engine mounts go from about 60-100k

Thanks Amir! I'm just over 85,000 miles. Did what you suggested, and yes....quite a bit of vibration. Right now I'm waiting delivery of my driver side CV Axle Assembly. The outer boot was pierced in this mountainous terrain. I'll keep you posted.

its your mounts, i just did my engine mounts (x2) and transmission mounts, day and night difference. My previous E500 also had bad mounts at around 100k.
