Tach outside temperature reading optimistic?
Something has been bugging me in my car : the outside temperature reading in the tach-located thermometer is always too optimistic, generally by about 3 degrees (celsius).

Has anyone noticed this, and is there a way to have it calibrated?

It's picking up engine and road heat too. It's intended to be approximate.
