2011 GLK350 front differential fluid

hi anyone know how or if even possible to change the front diff oil of the 2011 GLK350 (Canadian model). Research show there might not be any drain or fill plug or just one of them avail. One mechanic told me there is no fill and drain on it and axle need to be taken down for the fluid replacement. Anyone had similar experience able to share. Thank you.

I have the 2010 model, and there is no fill plug on mine, haven't checked for a drain plug, but there is a owner on benzword that wrote a DIY on the 2013 model using the vent cap opening to fill in the gear oil.

I just serviced a 2012 X204 GLK 350 4 matic it takes .06 of 1 quart of 85W90 hypoid gear oil you got to fully drain out remains in a measured empty quart, and reinstall same amount w/ a pump in threaded fitting so it only goes in and not back out! Then cap it w/ existing drain plug! Keep a rag handy cause your gonna get some oil down your arm! Master mechanic ,Steve Denney out!
