Odd chime on a specific road.

Odd chime on a specific road.
Just wondering if anyone would know what is happening. There is a highway interchange in town, and whenever I drive through it my audio will pause (be it over bluetooth, satellite radio, or sd card) the car will play a loud DING! over the speakers, and then the audio will resume. It does this with or without the navigation going. I've had it happen on both of the roads, in both directions. Nothing pops up on any of the displays.

I'll have to check that out, but I doubt that's the case-The previous owner lived on the East Coast and I'm in the midwest. They would have to REALLY hate our Target...

My car did similar at the junction of 87 and 287 in New York. It is the result of a radio beacon interfering with the audio output of the system. Beacon could be for counting cars or result of a near by airport.
