Switched 12v for GPS Unit

I'm looking for a switched 12v wire under the steering wheel area that I can splice into for my Garmin GPS. Any ideas? The OBD port is there with 12v but it appears to be constant 12v.

Thanks

Couldn't you use an «add-a-circuit» pggyback fuse in any of the 12v accessories? I did that in My Subaru, no ned to aplice anything.

If I wanted to run all the way to one of the fuses boxes I could use that. That requires running through the firewall or all the way to the rear of the vehicle. This aint no Subaru

Sorry, I thought there was a secondary fuse box under the dash like on many vehicles. This does indeed complicate the matter.
