Low pitch hoting noise from from wheel

I have a low-pitch, soft but very audible noise coming from (I think) the front passenger wheel. It happens at low speed and faster speeds but doesn't get louder or change pitch. It more like an Owl's hoot, not a metallic or grating noise. When I touch the break it stops or if I turn the wheel left or right it also stops. It's intermittent but happening more frequently as time goes by. One shop said it's a wheel bearing but the vehicle only has 59K on it. They did no diagnosis but I did explain the symptoms and gave him my best impression of the noise. Another shop said unlikely to be a bearing, more likely a tire. A MB dealership said the same - tire more likely.

Maybe the brake wear indicator, have someone look it at.

We had this and we were told the cause was particles in the pad. Look at the rotors and see if there are grooves in it our howled at slower speeds and would stop the moment we touched the brakes. The rotor had grooves in it. Had them replaced free.
I'm convinced MB uses crappy pads. Next brake pad change we will be upgraded pads.

Any uneven wear on the pads? I was getting a similar noise recently that would stop with braking. I checked the brakes and calipers, and the outer pad on both fronts was wearing more than the insides. Not much lube on the caliper pins, so probably the pins sticking and causing the noise. I applied some sil glyde to both, I also put in new pads and rotors, but I was going to do that regardless. No noise since.
