Rear View Mirror
This sounds stupid....
I just picked up a 2011 GLK today and I tried moving the rear view mirror with my hand and it wouldn't budge.
Is it automatic or is there a trick?
I didn't want to pull on it to hard as I already broke my center console box and I need a replacement (anyone know the part number to an almond/tan center console?)

ooooo yeah sorry but that left side armrest arrives as a complete assembly. You need to replace it as a complete unit. The part number is 2046803239 followed by color code 8Q20. Its around $300 USD depending on which dealer you go to for new, or look for a used one on ebay/salvage yard for cheap.

Thanks for the info! I will try to find one on ebay.
I put the part number in on ebay, found one but it says its not compatible with my car, only a 2012 glk. I'll continue my search.

hmm weird, there shouldn't have been any changes from 2010-2012. the only thing i see different is 2012 have the chrome trim around the cup holders.

Update: I manned up and moved it with my hand.
This is the one I was looking at that said it wasn't compatible.
