Automatic hi-beams with Lighting Package
Hi Guys and Gals,
New GLK owner here. I have the lighting package on mine and with the lights on automatic mode and the multi-function stalk pushed away from steering wheel and locked in the hi-beam mode I see from the manual it is automatic when those come on. I have driven on all sorts of roads and lighting conditions and haven't seen the hi-beams enable. Anyone seen this or shed any light on what is happening?
Thanks

High beams will be disabled if there is any sort of light hitting the sensor.
My high beams worked great. When approaching opposite cars, the high beam quickly disables.

You must have the HID headlights and you will see a high beam icon in the multi function display will light when the Automatic high beam is activated. The high beam indicator in the left pod will display when the high beams are actually on. According to the manual, at speeds below 30 mph, the high beams are switched off. The high beams are also switched off for other reasons such as on-coming traffic etc.

Yeah, I have never seen the high beams come on after being switched onto automatic mode. Does anyone know where the sensor is on this? Might cover it up and run a test to make sure that is working properly.
