Possible Purchase 2010 GLK350 4Matic
I found this vehicle today for my DW:
https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...0727/overview/
I would like to know your thoughts in general and also provide an answer to the following questions/concerns:
What is the white stuff on the window button and light selector switch?
What is the difference in price between the 4Matic and rear wheel drive? Is it worth the extra maintenance and mileage hit?
Any concerns with the mileage?
Dealer cannot produce any maintenance documentation on this vehicle. Suggestions?
Is an inspection a must? How much would a dealer charge?
The out the door price I am being quoted is $12.7K - thoughts?

We looked at several before we settled on our 2013 GLK 350 4-Matic. It had 78k miles on it and we bought it for $19k at a VW dealer. This was back in August. Lots of changes happened with the 2013 model year. Cosmetic as well as performance and reliability. I would ask for a Car Fax report first off. And if there is any way you can swing it find a 2013 or newer.
Have you seen the vehicle in person and test drove it?
We wanted the 4-matic for winter and I think it was a must have for us.
The white stuff looks like the black has rubbed off of the buttons and the plastic is showing through
Call a Mercedes dealer for any maintenance records
I would not buy it because of mileage but it's an 8 year old car too
Price seems high
