Manually rotate engine with breaker bar?
How do you turn the crankshaft with a breaker bar?
Folks, I've got a 2013 GLK250 and I'm in the middle of changing the tranny fluid and filter. MB conveniently provided a torque converter drain plug (wish more manufacturers did that), but I have to manually turn the engine until the drain plug shows up in the small access hole. I was told you need a 27mm socket and a breaker bar. However, my crankshaft pulley does not have a bug nut I can turn. Here's what it looks like.
What sort of tool is available to turn the pulley?
Thanks,
Gordon

crankshaft pulley tool would work. It is basically a three lug through hole socket with a bar welded as a handle. so if u got something similar to fit on the spokes you could turn it.
