Strange Beeps on ‘14 GLK 350

Bought a 2014 GLK 350 a couple of weeks ago, roughly 48,000 miles on it. Lately, on cold starts, it has started beeping a strange siren. You can hear the seat belt warning go off first in the video, followed by the second set of beeps that are most to concerning me. When we first noticed them, there were three beeps. They’ve since then grown to seven, and then nine beeps, and now 10 beeps. I can’t find anything online or in the forums that seem to be related to this kind of thing. Any help would be appreciated. I also have a call out to my local dealer, but have yet to hear from them.

Do you have an aftermarket alarm system installed? That noise does not seem factory.

Thank you both, figured it out. It is the GPS tracker that the dealer installs on all of its inventory. They neglected to send me the info about how to switch it over to my name. It was chirping to let me know if wasn’t connected to the network. Aka, it’s coming out now. :-)

I thought Nebraska was so flat that the dealer could see the car if someone stole it, so no need for a tracker. Sorry, couldn't resist. Interesting that the dealer puts trackers in its used cars. When you remove it make sure you record all the data on it and post it here. Interesting to find out brand and capabilities.
