2011 GLK350 Instrument Panel Upper Cover Replacement
I need to replace the instrument panel upper right cover (number 2 in attached image) on my 2011 GLK350. I have the new part but haven't figured out how to remove the old part and replace with the new part. I asked at the dealership where I ordered the part but they weren't forthcoming. There are a series of "L" shaped clips on the underside. I tried inserting a credit card on the right side where the cover abuts the B pillar and on the left side but that didn't displace the piece enough to release it. Does anyone know the removal/replacement procedure?

Johnny, thanks for the reply.
I don't just use the trim tool to pop it up and out do I? From the shape of the moulded "L" connectors underneath the piece it looks as if it would have to displace at least 1/2" to the left in order to be released from whatever pieces they are captured in?
And OOPS! I meant A pillar! The A pillar cover says AirBag on it. I'm a bit shy about prying on it. I guess a look at the service manual would help.
