My GLK250 was sideswiped on the driver's side where it was parked overnight. There is paint transfer and some scratching that I'll see if can be removed, but the entire mirror assembly is destroyed.
So now I need:
* mirror housing
* mirror motor
* heated mirror glass w/blind spot assist
Has anyone found a reliable and quality retailer that sells these, besides a dealer?
Thanks for the condolences, guys... It physically hurts seeing it. I have an appointment with my insurance adjuster at a good body shop tomorrow, so fingers crossed.
I found the individual mirror parts on mbwholesalepartsonline.com in case anyone needs OEM parts. I coulnd't find the right mirror though, since mine has the Blind Spot Assist, is heated and auto-dimming. Everything else was there.
The paint damage is not only transfer from the other vehicle (Stupid f%cking landscape truck!) but the metal is also dented in places, as is the fender.
I'll see what the damage repair estimate is and post back.
