Steering Wheel Feedback

I have two sets of tyres; one for 19" and one 20" wheels. I switch between the two every few months and depending if I am driving far.
The 20" I can definitely feel more of the road, its pretty obviously the smaller sidewall will do that. The tire pressure is also a factor, they usually inflate to suggested pressure for the alignment. You can run a few digits lower for a softer ride but worse fuel efficiency. The make of tyres is important too. Everyone uses different materials and manufacturing methods. I used Michelin's for their renowned longevity and soft ride. The Pirelli's are average, nothing too stellar.
You can try to get the strut inspected and see if it has leaks if the tyres aren't the root cause.

Michelin’s do ride better but maybe you have a worn suspension component, my 2013 with 50000 is starting to do that, maybe a worn bushing somewhere or something worn and it’s a bit loose. Take it to a local tire shop and be there when they test it. MB will charge 3x more for repairs like that that a good local

I have a 13 with extended warranty and struts are not covered, so I doubt bushings are, and mb always charges like 2-3x more , I’m going to a local guy to have it checked , take it to a few places.
