I have been looking at a 2013 GLK350 with 102k miles, it was always from what CarFax shows serviced at the Local MB dealer, there is no record of a Trans service, I talked to the other local MB dealer and they said if it is not slipping they would not do the service since it was past due, but she did say the service history was good, she looked it up, and would not have any worries with letting the trans service go. But I called the MB dealer where it had been serviced and he suggested doing it as it is only 30k miles past due, he did say once it was dropped they can tell if there are shavings, if it is shiny fluid that's not good, they also have a customer who bought a GL450 with 95k miles and it had the 40k mile trans service done, he now has 195k miles and had not done any trans service and it runs smoothly.
