So hard to post a thread with my phone. Anyway, here is what I done so far. Lately i have been noticed vibrations and irregular rpm when I start my vehicle. I then cleaned my my K&N filter, maf sensor, changed fuel filter, ask Sam my tunnee to clean the manifold intake, throttle body and EGR, which still did not solve the vibration abd irregular rpm problem during the start of the vehicle. Sam suspected maybe the injectors was and he recommended a bottle of highly concentrated injector cleaner for me. After few tanks of fuel, the vibrations and irregular rpm during the start disappeared. After all the cleaning and injector clean up, now i can consistently get over 900km per tank. And today after i drove approximately 100km at speee between 100km to 110km, it said i get 5.3l per 100km and approximately 1260km left. i doubt i can get 1260, but that was really impressive to see. My next modification will be the low resistance tires. If the advertisement is true, i should be able to save additional 10% of fuel cost, which can put me under 5L per 100km, and that is my ultimate goal. Here is the picture of the injector cleaner.

2013 GLK 250
We just bought a 2013 GLK 250 with 47,00 miles on it. On the first tank with mixed driving, mostly 12 miles total, back and forth to work each day, we are averaging 40.4 MPG. Not relying on the car computer, doing the computations the old-fashioned way, actual miles driven divided by gallons needed to fill back up. We live in Panama City, Fl, so, it is not a congested city and we live 5 miles out of town. Loving this GLK 250!

I use the Fuelly app to track all of my fill ups. I have only had my GLK 250 for a short time but on 6 fill ups I am averaging 34.4 MPG and 533 miles per tank. I drive in a lot of stop and go traffic driving from CT to Queens 4 days per week so I'm not sure how much better I can get. I would love to get about 600 miles to a tank and I am hoping a little tweaking here and there will get me there. To get the GLK 250 I traded in my 2017 GLA 250 4MATIC which I really loved driving but hated that I averaged 26.5 MPG and 355 miles per tank - I was filling up every other day! That was tough to swallow after coming from a 2013 VW Passat TDI where I averaged 42.5 MPG and 720 miles per tank and 1 fill up per week. But hey, VW made me an offer I couldn't refuse to buy it back...

GLK 250
Driving to and from Chicago (200 miles roundtrip), including the horrendous traffic around town and extended speed blasts when possible/necessary, running on 50% tire treadlife left, I average 35 MPG.

I do not baby it, I run it in "Sport" mode only, change gears manually often to keep revs up either for passing or for engine brake as needed.

I could get 40+ if I drove like an old lady, but where's the fun in that? The difference is a couple dollars at the pump. D2 is $3.09 in my area, and that's the Mobil "Synergy Diesel Efficient" stuff.

Drive more, worry less.

YMMV.
