Bluetooth Audio
My 2014 GLK doesn't seem to have bluetooth audio although it has bluetooth phone capability. Is it possible to add this feature to the car or I should after market bluetooth?

If it has Bluetooth capability, you can play music from your Bluetooth device (iPhone, iPad, iPod, etc) by selecting the appropriate device in the COMAND system's Audio menu.

My 2012 GLK had bluetooth for phone but no Bluetooth music. The truck has the Mercedes multi media adapter in the center console. Some trucks have this in the glove box. I purchased this device and it works like a charm. Bluetooth Phone calls and bluetooth music all handled through the headunit now like they would from the later factory units. You plug it in, and forget it. it takes care of everything automatically and integrates perfectly with the vehicle.

I have a 2015. The BT works fine if I am streaming Pandora, but if I try to stream You Tube TV it won't do it. My 2013 VW Tiguan handles both just fine. I was just in the garage trying to get it to work and the best I could do was get a few seconds of YTTV to stream before it stopped. Going back to Pandora it would also only stream for a few seconds and stop. I rebooted my Google Pixel 2XL phone (Android 9.0) and turned off the car's head unit. When both were activated again and my phone connected to the head unit, I tried Pandora again and it now worked fine. Very odd behavior by the MB head unit. As I said before, the 2013 VW Tiguan's BT handles YTTV and Pandora fine. YTTV would allow me to listen to a baseball game. I'm not trying to watch video as I drive. Something else to test prior to purchasing a vehicle.

This is You Tube TV, not You Tube. It is a streaming TV replacement for cable and is wonderful. I pay $40/month for it. It still works just fine in the '13 VW Tiguan and not at all in my '15 GLK350 - well it does work for about 3 seconds.
